Watch your Phone Skills

My husband had to call the dentist office, to confirm his appointment. When the receptionist answered the phone, her tone was negative, she wanted him to know that the computers were down and that they couldn't contact their appointments and then hanged up on him. It just so happens that my husband has been in sales management for many years. He's always commenting on service, with me. He advised me that he would be sending an email to the dentist office regarding this matter.

We all have other things going on in our lives but we are in the business of providing a service. You can set yourselves apart by providing excellent phone skills. There are seminars, classes and books written on this topic. When I was in the corporate world, I had to attend many of these. I have 15 years of customer relations and service. Talk about some lasting experiences. I still make the time to read up on customer service and relations techniques. I even ask my spouse about ways to handle situations…

Marcus' Movie Reviews

I have a few movies that I would like to see this month. "Kingdom of Heaven" With Orlando Bloom, Liam Neeson, and Jeromy Irons. "Kingdom of Heaven" is an epic adventure about a man who finds himself thrown into a decades-long war. If I could have seen this movie a month ago, maybe it would have helped me with my World Geography test.

"Kicking and Screaming" starring Will Ferrell is an average guy who has a very competitive dad. This one looks like it's going to be very funny. My dad coached my soccer team a few times. He's a very competitive person too.

"Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith" opened yesterday. George Lucas puts so much detail into the computerized images. I'm going to see if my mom and dad will take me to this movie.

I'll let you know which one I decide to see and what I think.
