Take Your Daughter to the Course Week -July 10 to 16

Even though we don't have a daughter, I'm all for introducing kids to sports, especially by their parents. This is how our teenage son got started in many of his sports. But golf has a special place, in my heart, because my husband used to take him to the driving range when he was only 3 years old. Our son would sit in the stroller and toss my husband golf balls. To this day, they still play from time to time.

Golf courses around the USA are offering free greens fees to young girls accompanied by a paying adult, as well as a free golf clinic, during July 10 to 16, 2006. This is a great opportunity to include grandaughters, nieces and even your friend's daughters in a great sport!

Visit Get Linked Play Golf website for a list of participating golf courses in your area.

Heather Crowley, The Auction Chick, recommends that you be dressed and groomed when your spouse gets home. I may start out in my pj's and bunny slippers but he doesn't see that look when he gets home.
