I love McGruff! My kids have some pictures with him...I think they were a little freaked out, as they are with all costumed characters, but it was fun nonetheless. They went to a safety camp where he made an appearance.

My niece's costume was some kind of insect. Snail was a good guess, though.
I remember that dog. Good to see that some of the classics are still around.
