Join the Army of Women - Fighting Breast Cancer

I was watching the "Today Show" when Dr. Rhonda Love came on. She spoke passionately about her mission to one day end breast cancer, before it starts. Well, I had to stop what I was doing and just listen.

Her Army of Women is a research project that is seeking one million women volunteers, from every ethinicity, age and breast cancer history to partner with scientists and researchers in the search to end breast cancer. You can sign up, at the website.

Stop by today, spread the word and sign up. If not for yourself, for someone you love.

Attending Church Services - What a Calming Effect

After work, Charles and I attended church services, at our local church. Even though we now have to work on Sundays, we take time to attend 6pm worship.

Pastor Derek, Red Sox and New England Patriots fan, is a terrific worship leader. I love his sermons. They're inspirational, make you think and best of all cause me a calming effect.

The stress of work, home, being a mom and wife is why I treasure my relationship with the Heavenly Father.

'24' Redemption - 2 Hour Event on Fox

Okay, Sunday night, Charles and I are watching TV ,when a trailer for a 2 Hour Event for...'24' Redemption, comes on! I couldn't believe that I got out my chair and started dancing around! Who does that, over a show?!

This is what I've let this show do to me. Scream for Jack, in the bed. (it's okay with hubby because we're watching the show) When I mentioned it to Marcus, his response, "Oh, this is going to suck."

Yes, the writers' strike caused us to go through some '24' withdraws, this year. It is true that we do not allow Marcus to talk to us during the show. And this is one of the few shows that the hubby and I watch together.

It's due to air on November 23, Sunday, on Fox. The new season will air in January 2009. And you know where we'll be.

Army Wives - Episolde 14

Thank goodness Claudia Joy was able to stop Pablo before he was to do further damage. She put it best when she said she became part of the Army when she married her husband.

Roxy's husband is kicking Vicodin cold turkey - hats off to him. I've been through that one and it's a rough, painful road. Thank you Lord for always being at my side. Keep tuned for Trevor's injuries possibly effecting his Army career.

Denise takes a vacation house, for a week and continues to find out more about herself.

And to cap it off, a new Army wife has enter the picture. Does that mean someone might be leaving?
