This week has been very challenging for me. My pain level has been so high that it's raising my blood pressure. I also haven't been able to sleep through the night for the last 2 nights. Ugh!
I'm scheduled for a series of injections, in my neck and back, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, at a local pain clinic. The procedure is going to be very painful due to me not having any disc to inject the needle. And just to complicate things further, I also suffer from Myofascial Pain Syndrome.
Please keep me in prayers and thoughts. I will truly need them next week!

Marcus' First Semester Grades - Congratulations!
Marcus aka "Little One", getting ready for our Renewal Ceremony, October 12, 2008, Sunday
Charles and I received Marcus' first semester grades yesterday, in the mail. We were very impressed with his grades! He's passing all of his subjects, taking ownership of his schooling and following up his teachers when they're slow to grading his work. He even managed a few A's and B's in his major core classes.
Please keep in mind that our "Little One" attends high school online so there's no scheduled time for him to do homework. He's responsible for maintaining his schedule. He's also working his side business, attending senior high ministry, working on on his volunteer work and hanging with his friends.
We're very proud that he's doing well, in school. Congratulations Marcus!

Hard Rock Cafe Breast Cancer Halloween Event - October 31
Hard Rock Cafe, Las Vegas, Front Entrance
On Halloween night, Charles and I purchased a vendor table, in behalf of
American Mini Storage, Halloween night. The table fee went towards the American Breast Cancer fight. There was also a Henderson elementary PTA there taking paper ream donations.
We met several vendors, lots of tricker or treaters - young and older and enjoyed the band and excitement! Jack FM 100.5 and local TV media were there to cover the event.
Stop by the Hard Rock Cafe, Las Vegas website for menu, photos and events schedule.

Menu Plan Monday - November 3
Hubby and I trying the cake, at our renewal ceremony - October 12!
My husband and I represented American Mini Storage, at the Hard Rock Cafe Breast Cancer Charity event, on Halloween night. It was a fundraiser, trick or treat, paper donation event. We had a terrific time with the various vendors. Diane, Hard Rock Cafe Marketing Director, did a fantastic job organizing the event. She followed up with us several times during the evening. Something that doesn't happen at alot of events. I plan on posting some photos from the event very soon.
Look for American Mini Storage table at the Nellis AFB Air Show November 8-9. If you're planning on attending, please stop by and say hello!
Marcus has his high school equivalancy test this Wednesday. Please keep him in your prayers and thoughts.
Now onto this week's menu. Thank you Organizing Junkie for giving us busy moms a place to post our menus and get inspired!

Chicken Salads
Pizza on Whole Wheat Crust

It's Makeover Time...for the Blog
Now that I've been working fulltime for over a year, I thought I would treat "Berry-Morins Bits and Tips" to a blog makeover.
I stopped by Customer Blog Designs this morning. She has some beautiful and colorful examples of her work. I also love her prices.
I'm hoping to do something this month, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, I hope that you've enjoyed your extra one hour of sleep!
