As Time Goes By - DVD Recommendation

Foyle's War Series available on Netflix.com

We watched our share of DVDs on Netflix.com this holiday. I actually went through 3 seasons of As Time Goes By, while my husband and I finally saw Ratatouille, and he spent last night watching No Country for Old Men.

Everyone receives unlimited access to the 12,000 online library with their paid subscription. This is a terrific money saver for our household!

The Secret to Dealing With A Fork in the Road in Your Marriage - Sheri & Bob Stitof

What a pleasant way to start the New Year off. When I check my Inbox this morning, I saw a link from About Marriage.com, to this lovely article,The Secret to Dealing with a Fork in the Raod in Your Marriage by Sheri & Bob Stitof.

I love that after 14 years of marriage, 16 year old teenager and 21 years of friendship and courting I respect those forks in the road. Charles and I have had many in the years, they've made our relationship stronger and times of reflection.

Are you ready to celebrate the New Year? We'll be heading to our church for the New Year's Eve Family Celebration at Calvary Chapel Spring Valley. We'll start off with church services, then head over to the gym for some potluck, laser tag and human fooseball. We'll see how long I can stay up to celebrate the New Year!

The Raspberry Stuffed French Toast courtesy of Dream Dinners was just delicious! Our Assistant Manager even asked for the recipe. (don't have it) We'll definitely use the service again.

Save Your Money - Get Rid of Cable

When I first announced that we would no longer have cable in our house my husband and son began grumbling loudly. It's now been seven months without the cable monkey and we don't miss the service nor the monthly bill!

Hulu.com and Fancast.com are both FREE online streaming video sites. You can watch current and cancelled TV programs. Yes, you have to suffer through some commercials but I find it's less then the amount on TV. New television episodes usually post the next day.

Netflix.com offers unlimited streaming video online with your paid subscription. You'll be able to watch TV episodes and movies on your computer and Xbox.

Also, check out your favorite TV websites for free full online episodes. I enjoy that I can watch them on my schedule.
