I was reading my March
Real Simple magazine when I came across an article, "Live Your Life on Less" by Lesley Alderman. The writer explained that you don't have to go without your favorite things but you should find smarter ways to do them.
In my case, I love having a manicure. I also feel that it's a must since I work with my hands, customers see them and they should look good. Instead of going to the day spa and paying $45 for a manicure I head to a nail salon and pay $14 for a buff manicure.
My husband likes having a gym membership but I didn't like paying $30 or more for a monthly membership. We joined the local recreation center gym for $12 a month, no contract or sign-up fees.
You can still save money without really noticing it.
How are you living your life by
skillful means?
