It's official, the BerryMorins have begun their car shopping journey. We actually test drove a 2008 GMC Sierra pickup yesterday. First of all, the tall teen was able to fit behind the wheel. Everyone was able to fit inside the vehicle but we did argue about who's seat belts was whos.
Charles loves the height and the view. Marcus loves the way he looks in the vehicle. (teens..lol) Me, I'm looking at the monthly payment and of course insurance. (I just can't stop being an auto insurance rep...just former)
We have a deadline...April 7, to make a purchase. I've assigned Marcus the task of finding us an affordable insurance policy.
The mission has begun and we have agreed to accept it. I'll continue to keep you posted.

5 minutes for mom is having an
Ultimate Blog Party from March 20-27, 2009. You'll have the opportunity to visit new bloggers and maybe get to know your blogger buddies a little better.
My husband and I have been working together as Self Storage Property Managers, for 1and 1/2 years, currently in Las Vegas, for American Mini Storage.
We also live where we work so that has it's own interesting spin on our lives.
Our teenage son, Marcus, is currently a Junior. He attends distance high school which fits into our very mobile family lifestyle.
On October 12, 2008, my husband and I renewed our wedding vows with the teen in tow. Our son walked me down the aisle and we had a family unity candle lighting ceremony. I will always remember that look on my husband's face when I read him my handwritten vows. Is it possible to fall in love with the same person twice?
Our blog is mostly about my view and opinion, on our lives. Occasionally you'll actually read a post from the hubby and our kidlet.

My Spring Time Display on our console table in the dining area
Southern Hospitality is throwing a Spring Fluffing Party! It's time to put your bunnies, ducks, and floral arrangements displays throughout the home and join in with welcoming spring!
As always, I wasn't disappointed by many of the bloggers' creative tablespaces. I loved seeing the variety of colors, textures and items that were used.
As usual, I made no new purchases for this project.
So enjoy some time away from worrying about our economy and take a much needed break.

Husband's hobby desk
My husband loves making military tanks and airplanes. After several years of sharing our computer desk, he finally secured a desk for him to store and make his models. I've noticed that he even cleans and straightens his desk from time to time.
And thats why his hobby desk works for us!

My current Re-do for the kitchen
Lots of cupboards and counter space actually makes this kitchen challenging for this very mobile family. Utilizing items that we have and some new purchases this is my current results.
Take note of our new member, Henretta, the Chicken.(purchased from Etsy.com) My husband doesn't like her much (he doesn't like the way she stares at him) but I've always had a thing for folk art and chickens.

Eclipse Theodore Thermaweave Window Panel 54x89 at Target.com
I'm currently working on decorating our teenager's room this month. He requested curtains that would help keep the sun out of his room. I found a terrific buy on insulated denim curtains, for only $29.99 at Target.com.
Target.com was offering free shipping and 10% off that week. So, I purchased the Teakwood Bathroom Bench that my hubby had his heart set on.
This week, Target.com is offering free shipping when you spend $50 or more on select items.
