Charles is busy working our booth at the Freedom Fest, Nellis AFB. It's going to be 105 degrees and that's just too hot for this girl. Marcus packed up lots of water for him and gave him a hat.

We've been invited to a BBQ afterwards but we'll see how Charles is doing.

Monday starts our vacation. We're planning on catching up on errands and doing some tourist stuff. I wanted to see the Eiffel Tower experience, Human Bodies and Titanic exhibits. We'll definitely be taking photos!

Marcus and I found this affordable and custom Father's Day gift at Etsy.com. I was so thrilled to present it to him. See Marcus has given me many handmade gifts throughout the years but nothing for dad. We thought it would be nice to give something personal.

Here's one of the latest vinyl word wall decals that I purchased. I placed it in our bedroom and love it! The vinyl word wall decals are a very affordable way to decorate and change a look in a room.

Also, for those of us that rent they are removable!

Even Marcus wants me to purchase in his room! I found a dragon and some cool geometric designs that would work well in his room. Check out etsy.com for lots of choices.

Works for Me Wednesday - Charles and Toby

You want to see my husband's "little boy" come out? Get him a dog. Charles loves playing with Toby, rubbing his tummy or just having him sit in his lap while he's watching TV.

Of course, these days I have to compete for his lap but that's okay with me. And this is why adopting a dog for the man in my life works for me!

I'm not sure if living in Vegas has anything to do with it but when storing bananas or corn we have to just take them out of the bag.
