My Phone Prescreening Interview Went Well!

I had a phone prescreening interview yesterday with a telecommunication company. It's for a work at home customer support position, the pay is hourly and it's fulltime!

The interview went very well and I was scheduled for another phone interview for Monday morning. The interviewer told me that my previous work at home experience was one of the reason they called me. Thanks West Corporation!

I'm so excited about the possiblity of having a fulltime work at home job! With my unemployment benefits running out in February 2010 it would be a blessing.

Calvary Chapel Spring Valley Women's Christmas Tea Photos

The Women's Christmas Tea was a great success. There were over 500 in attendance. I tried to take photos but my batteries were dead. Ugh!

All the ladies received the tea cup as a gift. The table hostess received a decorative teapot.

Calvary Chapel Spring Valley Women Christmas Tea is tomorrow night! It's a special evening for the ladies to gather and enjoy traditional tea sandwiches, specialty teas, and delicious desserts. Melissa Lovett of Calvary Chapel Baton Rouge will be the speaker!

One of the ladies purchased me a ticket and I received a face to face invitation to sit at one of the tables.

I'm so exciting to attend.

I was thinking I should get them a little something. What ideas do you ladies have? My budget is around $10.

We won a Fresh & Easy giftbag courtesy of Deal Fanatic! It's our family favorite grocery store. This has been an early Christmas gift for us.

Marcus has become a fan of the chocolates. I want to add they would make a great gift!

Charles and I give "thumbs up" to Fresh & Easy light roasted ground coffee. It has a smooth, rich and no bitter taste!

Another One Bites The Dust - As The World Turns Is Cancelled

So, for some of us it won't be a surprise that "As The World Turns" is cancelled. After all, I stopped watching this one almost 20 years ago. It got too boring for me and I lost interest.

Some people are saying soaps are a dying breed. Their core audience, are more busy these days and have other viewing choices such as the Internet, cable and DVDs.

I'm always sorry to read when people are getting a pink slip. It's definitely rough out there. And for the soap opera actor their options are drying up.

This week I'll be busy taking Marcus to dental and eye appointments. He finally got approved for Medicaid.

Charles' Kmart hours have been reduced and I'm at the halfway point of my unemployment benefits. My husband and I were busy applying for work at home opportunities this weekend. We're praying we'll find employment soon. Thanks Rat Race Rebellion!

I attended The Church of South Las Vegas online service last night. I truly needed to be lifted up and was. I love Pastor Benny Perez's excitement of the Word!
