As of July 15, we've been living in Las Vegas for 3 years. I'm also proud to say that I no longer hate doing so!
For yesrs, all we could think about was how we were going to get back to California. Which is really silly when you think that we left so that we could have a better life.
Sure, Las Vegas has many things that make it a challenge to live here. Such as the high unemployment, medical fraud, homelessness, crime and drug abuse to name a few.
It's also the place that we were able to find employment that has given us free or reduced rent. We have some great friends here. Kiana has joined our family. And it has been the place that I've finally been able to find peace and contentment.
Here's to another great year in Las Vegas.
