Menu Plan Monday ~ October 4, 2010

My husband is still waiting for his background check to be completed. In the meantime, his unemployment benefits have finally been approved and deposited on his EPPI card.

Kiana, Marcus and I spend an hour or more in Party City this weekend. We tried on fun hats and masks. It was really fun walking the aisles and commenting on the various costumes with them. Silly me forgot the camera at home!

Marcus informed me that he needs some new sneakers. Now, he may work at Big 5 Sporting Goods and receive a discount but he informed me that they do not carry his 15 shoe size. That means we'll be placing an online order at Footlocker.

Now onto this week's menu plan. Thanks go to Organizing Junkie for hosting this linky party!

Roasted Pork Loin, Cauliflower, Wild Brown Rice

Hamburgers with the Works on Whole Wheat Buns

Steaks, Roasted Potatoes, Green Beans

Honey BBQ Baked Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese, Carrots

Oven Fried Chicken, Mashed Sweet Potatoes and Corn

Love the photo on your post. Did you buy anything at Party City? I hope things go well and your husband gets hired. That's a good thing.
My hubby just moved from swing shift to day shift. He still has a job. But he lost shift differential pay which is a good chunk of $$$ per month we won't have coming in. OH MY! So we'll see what happens as I try to minimize more than normal, so not fun but we know God will provide. Hugs!

Yes, I bought some decorative lights, Jack a Lanterns for our window and the kids got orange lights.
It's funny how people will comment that one still has a job. My question is at what cost? In my situation they've added more responsiblity and no pay increase. Ugh!

Oooh, Mac and Cheese, haven't had that in ages! Good to have something different with pasta for a change - it may be really cheap, but it gets boring quick!
