Hi Rona,

I so love hearing these great pulling together stories of churches and their congregations of how they handle a outreach. We just did ours on Sunday, we called it Praise and Pies. Each family member pulled together and purchased a full Thanksgiving Dinner, the turkey's will be donated to. They went into a basket. Our children's ministry decorated the basket's with art work. The congregation got to have fellowship, dessert and praise over the baskets.

Thank you for sharing your post on Calvary.

God bless you and your family.

Hi Rona!
Just noticed you left me a comment today. Wanted to follow up with you.
Wow, you guys lived in San Diego too. How cool. I have a brother in law that commutes to Vegas week after week. Comes home usually Friday afternoons and heads back early Monday mornings.

I attended a Calvary church but found another like church closer to home.

Take care and blessings to you two empty nesters for the Holiday.

God bless, Viola
