Would You Trade Places with Your Hubby? Househusbands

Charles and I talked about him taking over more of the household duties. I guess I already knew what his response was going to be. He doesn't like cleaning and managing the house.

For years, I've been the one to do run the house, take care of the family and manage the money. I love doing it and he says I'm better at it then him!

Things are very different these days. With my multiply pain issues and working a full time job I'm exhausted!

So, we talked about his standard of cleaning being different then me. I'm a clean freak. Me accepting that I wouldn't be nagging him about it. And Marcus, our teen helping out more. Now that's a deal!

I love Facebook! But I've heard that social media sites have been causing some problems in marriages.

Praise and Coffee has posted how we can protect our marriages from temptations.

Husband Wanted! Marrying Man with Great Health Care

She needs health care plan with affordable co-pays. So, to get it she's looking for a husband, with a terrific health care plan, little or no co-pays and lifetime benefits.

Guys, do you have health insurance? If so, Terri Carlson has a proposal for you.

The 45-year-old Vista divorcee, who has a debilitating genetic disorder, says she'll marry for health care coverage, as long as your co-pays aren't too heavy, the North County Times reported.

"There is no other health care option for me," Carlson, an Orange Glenn High School graduate, told the paper by phone Friday evening. "I can never ever get health care insurance unless I marry. I am stuck in the middle. I can't get Social Security."

Carlson said her very public campaign (she created a Web site and YouTube videos about it this week) is driven by desperation and not a desire for personal attention. She said she's received "lifetime denials" from every health insurance company she can find and made countless appeals to state and national leaders.

Her proposal has garnered more than 5,000 e-mails from across the globe, all since Sunday, she said.

5 Ways to Reduce Stress of Working Online from Home - Work From Home Employment

I've been so overwhelmed with work that I haven't had the energy to post on my own blog. That's so not like me! It's good to remember that this is a great opportunity that shouldn't be stressing me out but can.

5 Ways to Reduce Stress of Working Online From Home gives tips to follow on how to lower their work stress.

One - Have a work schedule and stick to it. In my case, being an employee, I have a set work schedule with scheduled breaks and lunch. If you're an Independent Contractor you need to work these into your schedule.

Two - Leave your work at the desk. If you have an office this will be very easy for you. Close the door and walk away. If your work area is in a common area or bedroom you need to put your work away. I created a binder for my notes. Once I'm done I don't look at it till the next day!

Three - Set aside personal time. This is when you can treat yourself. Maybe it's a manicure or putting your feet up and reading a juicy book.

Four - Consciously 'Slow Down'. Maybe it's taking a walk, drinking some herbal tea or washing dishes. Whatever works for you!

First Work Day Jitters!

Lots of stuff happened like not receiving emails so that I could access the class. I drove my poor hubby crazy with one obstacle after another. But I did manage to get to my virtual training class...15 minutes late.

It really feels good to be back to work. And I do love being able to do it from home.
