Hello My Name is Rona and I Tried to Kill Myself.

I've been in a mental health clinic since Thursday, April 15, because I tried to kill myself.

I did hurt myself, my husband and my son.

I realize and accept that I have major depression.

I accept that I cannot stop taking anti-depressant medication nor stop seeing a therapist and psychiatrist.

I do thank the Heavenly Father for not letting me die, for staying with me, protecting me, giving me forgiveness.

If you're depressed, please DON'T stop taking your medication.

If you're thinking of hurting yourself tell someone and accept their help.

And please, don't be ashamed, depression is not a weakness.

Join a support group; you're going to need it.
