While we had "T" creating some amazing new hairstyles for us we also had Mimi and Shauna work their magic on our nails.

I finally got an opportunity to take a photo of Marcus in his youth counselor staff T-shirt. He had just gotten back home from a long day at work.

Kiana had her roots dyed black, cutted into a very adorable style that frames her face by "T". With this new cut Kiana has 4 different styles to chose from!


While Kiana was having her color set I decided to get a trim and style. My short cut has really grown out. I really love this new style. The hubby likes it too.

I pray for the unemployed and underemployed to continue their faith in the Heavenly Father.

I also ask if you know of a family that is struggling please consider dropping off a cassorole or inviting them for dinner or anonymously dropping off a box of food.

Menu Plan Monday ~ August 9, 2010

I finally have a workout schedule that's working for me. Amy, my Back Care Specialist, has been very helpful with motivation and exercise tips. This time I'm approaching working out as part of life. I'm not looking at it as a way to lose weight but has health maintenance. (like incorporating good dental hygiene into your daily life)

I'm taking a personal day on Friday. I decided that it would be nice to have a whole day free..to run errands and drive Kiana and Marcus around. Sometimes I reflect back to having a flexible work schedule for these type of days. I truly miss them.

Now onto this week's menu! I'm planning on making a Apple Pie from Mr. Food Quick & Easy Diabetic Food Cooking Cookbook.

Whole Wheat Spaghetti with Meatless Sauce, Mixed Green Salad

Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Salad

Oven Fried Haddock, Rice Pilaf, Green Beans

Mac and Cheese, Salad

Pizza with Lots of Veggies
