Tri-Tip Roast - Betty Crocker Big Red Cookbook

Any time I need to know a cooking time or prep instructions I just pull out my Betty Crocker Big Red Cookbook.  This has been my cookbook bible since I moved in with my husband, Charles!

Tri-Tip 1.5 -  2 pounds
Oven Temp 425 degrees
Meat temp 145 degrees after standing - Medium Rare
Cooking Time 30 - 40 mins per pound
