F.W.Invasion. Part 9.

I hope you enjoy this bit from Foyle's War.

Foyle's War on You Tube

Charles and I discovered Foyle's War , on PBS, in San Diego, years ago. Occasionally, I like to request DVDs from Netflix and make an evening of it with the hubby.

I was delighted to discover that some episodes are available on You Tube.

Q & A – Sympathy Meals: Do You Give & Receive Them?

Shrimp Curried Rolls
Q & A – Sympathy Meals: Do You Give & Receive Them?

Charles and I have received many delicious meals during times of lost and just because. The ladies, at the San Diego small claims court, were amazing cooks.

Marcus and I loved it when he would come in with a big food bundle.

We have also been givers, especially desserts. I love to bake but didn't want the temptation in the house. Marcus and I would box up cookies, cupcakes or fried dough for our neighbors.

It's great to hear Marcus sharing those memories with Kiana now.

Simple Bites is sharing a beautiful form of kindness! The blogger expressed that giving a meal can also be for a new parent, newlyweds, someone going through unemployment or a just because!

She also shares tips meal ideas, recipe links, how to drop off your gift, and how to handle the occasionally no.

Marcus and I have giving many plates of cupcakes, cookies and fried dough to neighbors and co-workers throughout the years. After reading this blog post Next time I'll consider making an extra tray of lasagna or soup as a gift.

What You Should Know About Relocating For Your Job

What You Should Know About Relocating For Your Job

Many years ago, my husband accepted a job transfer to San Diego. In his relocation package he received a check for $10,000, for moving expenses and setting up his new home.

Now that the economy has changed I haven't heard of many relocation packages. But should you get offered one make sure to read it throughly.

Our "Little One" is Turning 19 This Month!

February is a busy month in my home. After putting away the Valentine's Day decorations it's time to focus on Marcus' birthday on February 26!

This year, I decided to try my hand at making a Happy Birthday banner for Marcus.

Happy Valentine's Day ~ Hubby and I renewing our wedding vows!

I had so much fun yesterday, decorating the gift bags for the hubby and kids. My gift was the hugs, smiles and kisses from my family.

I also decorated the bathroom mirrors with gel Valentine's heart stickers. Kiana kept touching them and commenting how they felt.

And take a look at my Valentine's Day greeting card banner. It's a great way to recycle those cards each year!

Now, onto this week's menu plan. Thanks to Organizing Junkie for hosting this weekly linky party.
