While shopping at Walmart, I decided to treat myself to a new purse and when I saw this set I thought why not!

It's Been Six Years of Blogging at BerryMorins Bits & Tips

When I first started BerryMorins Bits & Tips 6 years in May, I thought it would be a fun way to provide an outlet of our early days of homeschooling, home business and my work at home experiences.

I never thought that I would now be able to referring to my blog, as a journal. That it would bring lots of tears and laughs as I re-read posts.

To see how much Marcus has grown, from teen to young man has been delightful. He's still my Little One.

And who knew that we would welcome and say good-bye to Toby, the Wonder Dog and Kiana. They brought great joy to our lives and we miss them everyday!

I also had no idea how many people would be reading and following my blog. When I chat with family and distant friends I still get a chuckle when they share something that I posted.

But the best compliment is when I hear my husband and son say, "You should check out Rona/Mom's blog".

Great News! My Health Insurance Company Purchased My Tens Unit!

It was costing me $300 a month to rent my TENS unit so I had to return it. Well, today I opened a letter from RS Medical advising me that my health insurance company purchased my TENS unit for me.

We're Looking for Roman Shades

Roman shades available at Country Curtains

We've decided that we would like a Roman shade in the home office and Marcus' room.

The problem that I keep coming up against is that the one's online aren't the right width. I need 51 inches wide. The shades also must be insulated to block out the Las Vegas sun.

If you have an online website you can recommend I would greatly appreciate it!

ps I've seen the Roman shade kits but this gal doesn't sew.

Walmart Is Launching Grocery Delivery!

In limited areas, Walmart has launched grocery delivery service!

For those of us who choose to live without a car or limited time to do our grocery shopping, this service will be an affordable alternative to Von's grocery delivery service.

Currently, the service is not available in my area.

Starting My New Work Schedule Today

I'm starting my new work schedule today, 11 am to 7pm.

While I now longer have a 3 hour lunch break I truly enjoyed sleeping in this morning.

Time to Treat Myself to a Manicure

While enjoying my last 3 hour lunch break yesterday I decided to get a manicure.

While walking, I found a new salon, Beligo Nail Salon. When I approached the owner actually got up and opened the door for me. Very impressive.

I didn't much of a wait because I was having fun looking through the nail polish colors.

I found this one, a very dark purple. I love the deep color and the shine. In person, my nails look wet.

While she was trimming my nails, I found myself missing Kiana. I'll always remember the fun times we spent getting manicures and pedicures.
