BerryMorins Chicken and Dumplings

Marcus was in charge of brown and seasoning the chicken and vegetables. He did add poultry seasoning, along with salt and pepper before placing in a 300 degree oven.
I made the dumplings according to the recipe. Next time I'll make less dumplings because we ended up with too many to use. Note to self: buy a rolling pin

After removing from the oven, Marcus separated the chicken from the bones. Second note to self: Next time save the carcass to make homemade chicken broth.

The finish product was delicious! Marcus and I have fun cooking together, especially new recipes. Marcus even raved how much he loved it! This is going to make a delicious surprise for hubby when he comes home from work.
