My husband's commercial driver license physical exam is due so I made an appointment with our family doctor. Before I got off the phone the scheduler advised me that there would be a cost of $65 for the appointment. I said "Excuse me"? Then she replied, "His health insurance doesn't cover it".
I do miss the days of being covered by an HMO or having your employer cover work related required physicals.

That Will Be $65 Please! "Man, Do I Miss Having an HMO"!
