After 16 Years Our Waffle Maker Has Died

It was a wedding present that we purchased from a Williams-Sonoma gift card that a friend gave us 16 years ago. And last night I plugged her in to make waffles, heard a click, red light went out and it tripped a fuse. She's gone.

How sad! I've been married 16 years and I have a couple of things from my wedding gifts. I remember actually wanting a waffle iron for my wedding but never got one. We actually just got a belgian waffle maker a few years ago for the kids. The big belgian ones are cool. Not too expensive either.

Oh man!! Too bad it couldn't have died after you made your waffles!! I just bought one this year and LOVE it!
