Discovering More Natural Cleaning Solutions: Baking Soda
I've recently discovered that a baking soda paste rubbed into my wooden cutting board, letting it sit for several minutes, gets rid of odors. Love it!
I'm determined to slowly replace all of our toxic cleaning products with natural ones this year. So far I've replaced the dishwasher liquid, cleanser, and antibacterial spray!

I'm with you all the way on this one. Did you know white vinegar is an excellent degreaser? Way better than commercial ones and not toxic!
We also use it half and half with water and a few drops of lavender (natural antibacterial qualities) as a general surface cleaner. The vinegar smell doesn't last at all :)
