Dealing With My Hair Loss ~ Previous Blog Post March 25, 2011

Did you know that hair loss can be attributed to Fibro? I didn't know that tell I was speaking with another wig wearer. **************************************************************** Despite the fact that wigs, hair extensions and hair pieces are much more acceptable these days the realization that my I am suffering from hair loss has not been easy. As recently as this week, I've cry in the shower so that my family won't hear me. Hair loss is devastating to a woman! I've done lots of research on selecting, wearing and care for wigs. There's so many articles and online videos on the subject. This information has made me feel a little better. It's seems there's a need for it. I decided that I'm going to have my relaxed hair cut off. This will leave me with a very short natural cut. I figure this decision will make the transition much easier. My family's response to me wearing wigs has been interesting. Marcus has been making jokes about m…

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey Renew Their Vows ~ April 2012

Apparently Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon decided to renew their wedding vows in Paris, this time. I'm not that crazy about her gown but I won't expect to see her in something that wasn't form fitting. What do you think? Nick looks great in his suit. I wish them many more healthy and happy years together.

Informing That I Am A Severe Chronic Pain Sufferer!

I think it's important to share my condition with people. After all, do I look like I've been suffering from severe chronic pain for 12 years? At this year's dentist cleaning I spent 4 hours at the office! It wasn't because my teeth were in bad shape but because of the numerous breaks I needed to take to stretch and walk around to avoid pain flare-ups. *pain flare-ups are additional inflammation, pain and muscle spasms When I informed the dentist staff of my compressed cervical discs, herniated lumbar discs, myofascial pain syndrome and Fibro they responded with options, for my comfort. Option 1: clean the half of my mouth, schedule another appointment to clean the other Option 2: take numerous breaks to walk around and stretch Even though I did have muscle spasms in my mouth and neck, I was able to walk out of the office without waddling. "And that's a good thing"!

False Eyelashes..Checked Off My Bucket List!

After watching several YouTube false eyelashes tutorials, for months, I felt I had the basics down and was ready to take the plunge! My first attempt went...Well, you can see I didn't get them on target! At least I didn't poke myself in the eyes! As you can see it definitely takes practice to put them on! Would I ever try false lashes again? Probably but I would like to have them professionally applied. Now I can take these bad boys off before anyone else sees me.
