American Medical Association Military Suicide Study Results: Deployment Isn't A Factor In

A new study reveals that deployments to war zones and exposure to combat were not major factors behind a significant increase in suicides among military personnel from 2001-2008. But how is deployment tied to other symptoms?

While I'm not sure what changes would be taken had deployment been found to be a factor in military suicides I hope that the study will lead to less stigma and more access to mental health services and support.
