Autumn DIY Decorating Ideas ~ September 2013
You know you don't have to spend a lot of money to decorate for autumn. Thanks to nature, many of you have lots of gorgeous leaves, nuts and branches to pick from. For those of us that don't have that access we can still decorate for less. Check out your discount stores for inexpensive supplies.
When I'm short on time and still need to make dinner this is my go-to recipe. What's your go-to recipe?
Korean Beef with Brown Rice
1 pound lean ground beef
1/4 - 1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce (I use low-sodium)
1 Tablespoon sesame oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
1/2 - 1 teaspoon crushed red peppers (to desired spiciness)
salt and pepper
1 bunch green onions, diced (don't skip this!)
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and brown hamburger with garlic in the sesame oil. Drain most of the fat and add brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, salt and pepper and red peppers. Simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors. Serve over steamed rice and top with green onions.

I first discovered the strawberry fridge cake on Pinterest, this summer. We love strawberries, cake and that's its kept in the fridge. I'll definitely be making it again!

Marcus and I first came across fry bread while living in Maine. There it's called fried dough. It's typically served at fairs.
I forgot about it after moving to San Diego but when he needed an American Indian recipe for a school project we came across our go to recipe!
