American Chronic Pain Association: Living With Chronic Pain Disorders

There are different approaches to facing my daily severe chronic pain. One is not to do it alone.

The American Chronic Pain Association is a non-profit group that provides chronic pain sufferers, their families, caregivers and friends access to groups, materials, clinical studies and news, that will assist them in having a productive life despite pain.

I highly recommend the Communication Tools. They're helpful in preparing for your doctor's appointments and tracking your pain, for free.

Friday's Letter ~ February 21, 2014

Dear Office Depot,
Thanks to Kenny, Ben and Jean, the wonderful staff at my local Office Depot, for their amazing customer service today. Kenny, Tech Support, assisted me with our Acer 17 inch laptop. It's definitely in need of a repair. Ben was there to answer my questions about notebooks. (I actually ended up buying one) And Jean made sure that I had everything at the register. (I almost forgot my water)

Dear Family,
Why does it seem that the dirty clothes just never seem to disappear? I'm dedicated myself, this Friday, to finish them off for once and for all!

Dear Netflix,
I was so pleased to find that Endeavour is available for online viewing. I've been a fan of Inspector Morse for many years. And when the Endeavour series originally aired on PBS, last year, I missed it.

"Mom, That's Not Bread. It's Cake"!

Last Saturday, I baked Hungry Couple's Chocolate Chip Bread. It was so good! The hubby and son really enjoyed it.

But it started a heated debate, in our house . Is it bread? Or is it cake?

From the looks of things, it's just delicious!

Congratulations Hubby!

My husband was recognized for providing outstanding customer service last month. In October 2013, he noticed a young girl, who was disoriented and lost, boarding his bus.

He immediately realized something was wrong and struck up a conversation with the young girl. Apparently, she had become separated from her paratransit bus and was trying to get home. My husband was able to contact her family and her mother was able to pick her up safe and sound!

Congratulations hubby for being named the MV Operator of the Quarter!

By Jeff Sneider on February 10, 2014

Jennifer Aniston has signed on to star in and executive produce the indie movie “Cake.”

Aniston will play an acerbic woman named Claire who becomes fascinated by the suicide of Nina, a woman in her chronic pain support group. As she uncovers the details of Nina’s suicide and develops a poignant relationship with Nina’s husband, Claire also grapples with her own very raw personal tragedy.

Ben Barnz will produce with Kristin Hahn and Courtney Solomon, while Shyam Madiraju and Mark Canton will join Aniston as executive producers.

Sunday Morning Devotion: Stop Worrying!

I was listening to Joyce Meyer's Enjoy Everyday Life, this morning. Her message was Powerful Thoughts with the focus on Worry! Oh man. Is that an issue that pops up it's evil head in one's daily life.

Sunday Community

Matthew 6:25-27
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
