Hash House A Go Go Vegas

If you ever have the chance to visit Vegas you should consider having brunch at Hash House A Go Go! Portions are large, drinks are really good and nobody goes home without a doggie bag!

Hubby and I finally had brunch there a couple of weeks ago. He decided to try their Big O'crispy hand hammered pork tenderloin sandwich and macaroni and cheese. I decided to have eggs over-easy, corned beef hash, biscuit and fresh fruit.

We both felt that the food could have used more seasoning. Especially the hash! But the pork sandwich and mac and cheese were really good!

Gwynnie Bee: Asos Curve Bodycon Dress

I checked the mailbox and was thrilled to see that I received a Gwynnie Bee selection! Here, I'm rocking the Asos Curve Bodycon Dress in a size 20. According to the description and various comments, this is curve hugging dress, so don't forget the shapewear and consider sizing up if you don't want it to over emphasis your unwanted curves!

Volupties Subscription: June 2014

Volupties offers an underwear subscription service for curvy ladies, for just $12, your first month! (It’s $17/month after that) When you join, you provide your underwear size and each month you will receive 3 pairs of quality sexy underwear from well-known brands via snail mail!

ps They're delivering to Canada too!

Here's how my Volupties package arrived in the mail today. The small plastic bag actually fit perfectly in our mailbox. A plus for me because I didn't have to stop by the apartment manager's office to pick it up.

One thing that I've learned from Volupties is that I love boy short panties! They're fun and sexy.

Facebook is in hot water with its users after news surfaced that the social media giant allowed researchers to conduct a psychological experiment on nearly 700,000 unsuspecting users back in 2012.

Facebook stated that they conducted this experiment in response to reports that users have a negative response when reading about positive and negative posts.

Am I surprised? No, they're probably not alone in conducting studies.

It appears that iRobot isn't too far off. According to HuffPost Live segment, Home Care Robots have been in the works and should be available, in a few years! Just in time for hubby and I's golden years.

9 Summer Survival Tools When You Have A Chronic Illness

It never fails that during a chronic illness support group meeting, someone will ask for tips for enjoying a summer vacation or outing. As a chronic pain sufferer, I can tell you that it's always difficult for me to participate in outside activities over the years. And as my chronic pain conditions have evolved, I've found that I really have to really plan.

So, I was really thrilled to see an article by Lisa Copen, Founder of National Invisible Chronic Illness Awareness Week and Rest Ministries, sharing her summer survival tips at Huffington Post!

What works for me? Taking a nap during the day, not over-planning and taking time for quiet.

We Had An Amazing Time At Aliante Hotel And Casino This Weekend

One of the wonderful benefits of living in Las Vegas is that there are some gorgeous hotels and resorts to do a weekend stay. My husband and I decided to do just that last weekend!

We highly recommend the Aliante Hotel and Casino. It's off of The Strip, in North Las Vegas. It's a newer property with great entertainment, movie theater, restaurants and a spa! I think the following photos say it all.
