The Ms. Camay Show Bling T-Shirt

In August, I had the opportunity to meet Camay McClure, at the 40 Divas Fashion Show. She was one of the models, who rocked and owned the runway. I later discovered she has a radio show, The Ms. Camay Show, out of Seattle.

After listening to a few episodes, I was hooked. And of course, I sent out a few tweets saying so. Camay was so kind, responded and sent me this beautiful T-shirt.

An Inexpensive Way to Display a Flameless Candle!

I love re-using items around my house. So when I took advantage of a special flameless candle package on QVC, realized I didn't have any candle holders at home, I decided to put a family favorite item to good use!

Glass cookie jar was purchased from Kmart. But definitely check out your dollar stores and thrift shops.

Autumn leave garland. Same thing, discount stores, are a great source for affordable seasonal decorations!

If you live where there's access to autumn leaves, nuts, twigs, they would definitely make a beautiful addition to this project.

Ramblings of a Suburban Mom

It's a sad day for Target fans. They closed our local neighborhood Target and we're still upset about it. But at least I'm not stopping by just to window shop and spending $200!

Yes! We'll be able to pick from 5 shades of skin color for our Emojis! Woohoo!!

According to Gilt's study on heel heights per state, Nevada is one of the states where higher heels are worn. I usually don't wear anything over 3 inches.

How did your state rank?

Judi Dench does something a little...cheekier. The ‘James Bond’ star says she credits part of her massive success to film producer Harvey Weinstein and as a sign of gratitude, she tattooed his name on her butt. Before you gasp, it's temporary.

Gwynnie Bee: Rachel Pally Long Caftan Geo Print Dress

This is a maxi dress that you'll want to add to your closet. It's comfortable material, easy wear will have you wanting to wear it often. With the deep V-neck, you might want to consider a camisole, fabric tape or a pin. The long length is great for tall gals.

I'm definitely going to give this one 5 stars! Thank you Gwynnie Bee!

Jockey Skimmies are great for coverage under your maxi dresses!

Hollywood Fashion Tape is a must have for keeping clothing from slipping out of place.

Outfit Of The Day ~ November 3, 2014

I was so thrilled when I realized that the temps, in my area were going to be in the mid 60's today. So, I grabbed my favorite thrift shop scarf, Target t-shirt, blazer, boots and Old Navy Diva bootcut jeans for this casual look. I just love this cooler weather.

Sunday At The Park! ~ November 2, 2014

The Craig Road Regional Park has a Sunday Farmers Market that my husband and I just love. We walk to the and through the park, stop by the community gardens, sit and chat with people in the dog park and stop by the Farmers Market.

This Sunday, we checked out Pahrump Honey Company's assortment of products. My husband loves honey and I love natural products. Just a winning combination! PS I love her bee hat!

Check out these gorgeous lots at the community garden. It's wonderful that people can grow things in Las Vegas.

Our Thanksgiving Tree! 2014

I decided to purchase an assortment of Thanksgiving tags from Little Pumpkin Papers, at Etsy, for $7.50 plus shipping.

You could also make your own tags, with family photos and handwritten blessings to really make this project special! Look for a fallen branch while you're on a walk, trim it to fit your vase and add filling to anchor it. I used brown rice for our tree.

Have fun decorating this Thanksgiving! I sure will.
