Chronic Illness Sufferers: Your Options for Feeding Your Soul
Over the years I've been asked "Do you attend church, bible study and other devotional services, as a chronic illness sufferer"? And my response is, "Yes, I do".
When one cannot attend a worship service, in person, you'll find many options via the Internet.
Many churches and places of worship now offer their church services online. Some even go further with support to their online communities, with live chat, bible studies and events utilizing Google Hangout, YouTube and web conferencing services during the service.
If you're not able to attend during the online service, many offer them on a on-demand option.
Twitter has definitely created more opportunity to reach out to faith based bloggers, authors and places of service. I've attended several Twitter chats hosted by Proverbs 31 Ministries that are part of their online bible studies. The author is usually in attendance, there are questions and answers and even chances to win a prize.
So don't let the fact that you're not feeling well enough to attend services, in person, stop you from feeding your soul.
