I've Started My Easter/Spring Decorating!

Using Easter gift tags that I purchased years ago saved me money. Add ribbon and you have affordable ornaments.

I decided to add this egg nest ornament from Hobby Lobby while saving 40%! Not bad if I say so myself!

I've always loved these chocolate bunny gift tags. They're wicked cute!

I highly recommend utilizing gift tags as ornaments. Many company's are making gorgeous ones. Just too pretty to use for a gift tag.

This is one is one of my favorite Easter ornaments. I love the ribbon and the detail!

The kitchen counter is ready for Easter. The green 'grass' bunny from Target was only $3! Isn't he adorable?!

The banner was a DIY project. I purchased 2 packages of Easter bunny and egg cardboard cutouts for $1 each.

It's Finished! Nevaeh's "Popcorn" School Vocabulary Parade

My daughter-in-law and I finished assembling Nevaeh's "Popcorn" costume this week. All that was left to do was attach the straps today.

I have to say I had a wonderful time working on this project. It brought back lots of good memories when our son was little. And I even made some new ones!

Gwynnie Bee: City Chic Lacey Check Dress

It's been awhile since I posted a Gwynnie Bee outfit of the day. I haven't been very lucky with the items they have sent me. Since losing 45 lbs, I'm still learning what works for my body and doesn't.

This dress definitely shows off my curves and shows my fun side. On the flip side, my bra kept popping up on the right side. I also forgot to wear the right shape wear so my bra straps didn't show through the mesh upper sleeves! "Yikes"!

I'll be returning it this week, in the prepaid return address labeled bag. Hopefully the next item from my virtual closet will be a winner!

I wore the City Chic Lacey Check Dress with a pair of Target Merona Mary Janes pumps. Wicked comfortable for our spring weather!

Thank you Gwynnie Bee for keeping me stylish no matter what my size!

Shopping at Big Lots!

I saved enough money that I treated myself to a "love" wall decor.

Graco Play and Go Arrived! #BabyShower Gift

Our son called me this afternoon to stop by. He had finished assembling the Graco Play and Go!

Thank you to all of the wonderful grandmothers who suggested it to me. Hubby and I will be purchasing one for our house too.

I like that there's a changing table on the other side of the napper. It helps to save on space. The Play and Go will grow with baby. It can be used as a play pen when she gets older. And can be packed for travel.
