I Found A Cow and She Followed Me Home!

As I was walking to the nail salon, I passed a thrift shop. When I saw her, I stopped for a second look. This cow caught my eye! She was sitting on the top shelf, staring at me. "Buy me Rona"!

I immediately went, chuckled and purchased her. Just $3! She even came with me to my pedicure appointment!

Our youngest granddaughter, Gaia taking Daisy Lou for a ride! Since then she gets scared and cries when we attempt to put her on Daisy Lou.

It's official September so I have been decorating for autumn. Daisy Lou received some love with this fall wreath crown!

Bringing Autumn Inside Our Home

I'm a Portland, Maine gal. So it shouldn't surprise anyone when I say, "I love autumn"! The colors, scents, the crisp air get me skipping.

My first year, in San Diego had me crying when September came around. Since I couldn't be in Maine for fall foliage I thought I create that feeling in our home. Twenty-three years later I still decorate our home for autumn! Wow!

So let me share a few fall accents with you. And as usual, I like to use thrift shop finds, Big Lots, Etsy, and repurpose items.

P.S. I had my first visit at Dollar Tree Store last week! Loved it! Thank you to the many thrifty decorating bloggers for introducing the store to me!

Outfit of the Day! August 29,2016

Today's inspiration came from my vintage lace top!In case you didn't know I bought it for just $1.50 at a local thrift shop!

Yes! I love shopping at thrift shops. You just never know what great items you'll find.

Anyways, back to today's outfit. I wore a white shapewear camisole under the top. The camisole gives me coverage and blends well with the lace top.

The blue jeggings were purchased from Le Tote fashion subscription service. As a member, I can purchase items from my items, at home, for a discount price. They're very comfortable even in the brutal summer!

The Guess navy blue wedge heels are from Ross Dress For Less. I just love shopping at that store! So does my daughter-in-law. She gave them to me so zero cost to me!

Le Tote Fashion Subscription Box: Octavia Green/Black Multi-print Maxi Dress

Le Tote fashion subscription service sent me this beautiful Octavia multi-print maxi dress. I have to say I've never worn this shade of green before but I love it!

I felt ready for an island vacation with the hubby!
